1st and 2nd grade students will be taking the ATLAS K-3 Literacy Screener tomorrow (August 27th). Testing will begin at 8:15 each morning. Please be sure your child is on time for school, has slept well, and has a charged chromebook

⚖️ Income-based eligibility — Funded by TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)

📌 What to Bring:
👩‍🎓 Students:
-Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, school ID, etc.)
-Signed Social Security card
-U.S. birth certificate
-Non-U.S. citizens: permanent resident card or work authorization
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents/Guardians:
-Recent check stub or 2024 W-2 OR proof of public assistance (SNAP, TEA, Work Pays, Medicaid, SSI)

If not receiving assistance: documentation of household size, SSN cards for all household members, and proof of household income

Good evening! We are headed into week 2 of school! We have enjoyed seeing the students and staff. There are a few reminders to make pick up and drop off more successful and safe.
Take turns when the 2 lanes converge to 1.
Parents stay in your car.
Do not park in the car line.
Students need to get out on the right side of the car.
Pre-K parents need to pick up students by 2:20. If you arrive later than 2:20, you must park by the big playground and walk up. You cannot park in the car line.

We are so excited to welcome you to Baker tomorrow morning. Remember that our car line is one way starting at 7:15 in the morning. Please remain in your vehicle from the time you enter Baker Lane until you reach the front porch and have a teacher load or unload your child /children from the passenger side of your vehicle. When the 2 lanes converge, each lane takes turns as the cars enter the school parking lot. Please adhere to these rules for the safety of our students and staff.
