Throughout the month of February, Daisy Bates Elementary will host Motivational Mondays in honor of Black History Month. The first one was held this past Monday on February 12 with special guest speaker, Dr. Addie Morris. She is a retired colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve. We appreciate her taking the time to speak to our students about her journey to overcome obstacles and achieve success in the Army and beyond.
