Meet Ellen Morris, our new SPED Resource Teacher!
"Hello! I am Ellen Morris, and I am so excited to be a Senator! I will be the Special Education - Resource teacher for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. This is my 21st year teaching, with most of those years in PCSSD. I have taught both general education and special education as well as worked as an Instructional Facilitator in the area of Math and a Behavioral Intervention Specialist.
I live in Little Rock with my husband, two sons, and my niece. I also have an adult son! We have a zoo of dogs and cats. I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, and crafting. My family also loves college football! I look forward to getting to know you and working with you this school year! I know it will be a great one!"

Meet Hope Eady, our new Pre-K Teacher!
“I love to teach. I have been teaching for 25 years. I’m a dedicated, hardworking, and loving teacher. My family means the world to me. We love watching movies, playing games, and eating at different restaurants. My personal interests include reading, traveling, and shopping. I am happy to teach at Robinson Elementary School.”

Meet Jessica Bailey, our new Pre-K Teacher!
"Pre-k is my passion. I have been teaching Pre-k for 10 years and I am very dedicated to my students and families. I’m a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. My family is very important to me. We love spending time together. We are an active family who love camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, BMX, biking and going to the lake. My personal interests include crafting, Bible study, reading, sewing, needle point and spending time outdoors. I am very excited to teach at RES and can’t wait for this new opportunity. "


PCSSD Teacher of the Year, Ben Light, was recognized at a special reception at the Governor's Mansion on Thursday. Mr. Light was named one of 14 regional finalists in the 2024 ATOY program. We are so proud of his hard work and dedication to students! #pcssdproud #serveall
