Course recovery for the 1st semester will start February 1. The registration is open now and ends on February 8 . If your student did not receive a passing grade for the 1st semester, he or she will need to register for course recovery.

All sessions are 4-6 p.m., in the 6th grade POD
Students should report on February 1 to the 6th grade POD at dismissal. Attendance is mandatory.

If you're interested in cheering at Maumelle High School in the 2022-2023 school year, Maumelle High is holding an (virtual) interest meeting on January 31 at 7 p.m. or February 9 at 7 p.m. If your child plans to cheer, it is mandatory for a parent to attend either of these interest meetings.

On Friday, January 21, THV11 came out to Maumelle Middle to highlight the extraordinary efforts our teachers and instructional administrators are having to do right now during the pandemic.
Since we have so many staff out due to illness right now, many instructional admin are stepping up to do the teaching. Mr. Mark Smith stepped up in such a case at Maumelle Middle and it caught a lot of positive engagement on the school's Facebook page.

Students 12 and up are invited to submit artwork as part of a contest to be featured on the next edition of the Arkansas Northern Bobwhite Conservation Stamp. Entries should be submitted by Feb. 20. Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a civil rights leader who participated in and led marches for blacks' right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.

Our students recently participated in a reading competition with Mills Middle School. We are very proud to announce that we had 498 students who submitted reading logs and their total number of minutes was 68258! These students have won a field trip to Dave & Buster's with all expenses paid! Go Stingers!

Mr. Smith, our Math Instructional Coach, filled in as a substitute teacher this week and in the cafeteria. This is a great example of how our fabulous teachers and staff members are helping in creative ways to provide for our students!
