The 7th grade Lady Stingers Volleyball Team did not secure a win on Monday night. However, they gave the other team a strong fight in game two. Their determination and teamwork were evident throughout the match. The 8th grade Lady Stingers Volleyball Team played a very strong game, too, but they did not secure a win Monday night. Great effort, teams! Go Stingers!!!

Last weekend, our choir students attended 2024 Region 2- All Region Junior High Choir auditions. Out of nearly 1,000 choir students who auditioned, three students from Maumelle Middle made the choir! We are so proud of our Hornets and the hard work they put into the season already. We can't wait to see how far they grow this year!

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, one of Dr. Franco's sixth grade Spanish classes visited the Stinger Stingers 7th & 8th grade girls choir. The class observed the choir working on a Spanish language song. The song is "Juntos" by Jim Papoulis and the choir is learning this selection for the upcoming Jr. High All Region Choir Try-Outs. The choir enjoyed sharing Spanish in action with the sixth grade students.
