Ms. Passini took a group of students from the Lessons for Life group on a college tour earlier this week. Our students visited UA-Little Rock for a campus-wide tour which included a guest speaker. On the tour, they experienced a "day in the life" of a college student and received information about the application process and the overall path to college. Lessons for Life is an organization that meets with our girls each Wednesday in a mentor/mentee capacity.

Today is Leap Day! Leap years exist because it actually takes the planet a little bit more than a year to orbit the sun. That time is rounded down to the 365 days we recognize as a typical year, those nearly six extra hours don't disappear. Leap years are added to account for the difference. The extra day keeps calendars and seasons from gradually falling out of sync and impacting harvesting, planting and other cycles based on the seasons. #pcssdproud #serveall
