2nd grade participated in the STEM Apple Tower Challenge. They went through the engineering process with their group and created a plan to build a tower only using 20 straws and 4 ft of tape. The tower had to support the apple so that it was off the ground. #pcssdproud #serveall
Today is celebrated as the Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos). This is a widely recognized Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. #pcssdproud #serveall

Last Friday (October 20), 1st - 5th grade students attended Little Rock Air Force Base for the Thunder Over the Rock! The day was filled with fun STEM activities as well as an opportunity for students to watch the different planes practice for the air show! What a great experience for our students!
