JROTC at MUSHS

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Mills University Studies High School’s JROTC Program recently hosted their 3rd Annual Modified Army Combat Fitness Test Team Competition (MACFT).

The Comet Battalion competed against other high school Army JROTC programs from Arkadelphia, Warren, White Hall, Memphis/Kirby and The Arkansas Military & First Responders Academy’s Marine JROTC Program. 

The MACFT is the assessment for the physical domain of Army's Holistic Health and Fitness System. As a general physical fitness test, and age and gender performance scoring scale used to evaluate a Soldier’s physical fitness. However, in this case modified for JROTC Cadets for Teams Competition purposes to boost morale and assess a level of fitness.
