Mills University Studies High School is very proud to announce that our 132 seniors have been offered a total of $4,108,322.93 in scholarship money! Their hard work has paid off - both metaphorically and literally! We also want to thank the senior class teachers, the counselors, and the graduation coaches who have been diligent in helping our seniors as well. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 on this outstanding honor.

To show their appreciation for our teachers, school board member Tina Ward two members of the Chosen Law Group, T.J. Meadows and Bobby Forrest, Jr., provided a lovely breakfast spread for the Mills staff. We are so thankful for their thoughtfulness and our community partners for this celebration!

This past weekend, five Mills University Studies High School students volunteered with their art teacher, Mr. Bean, to prepare for his upcoming show at the Acansa Gallery in the Argenta area of North Little Rock. Jazmin Gaytan, Alexis Davila, Karime Martinez-Gutierrez, Breanna Martinez-Gutierrez, and Jayshaun Vaughan were all there to cut mats, add frames, and hang items getting the full experience of preparing a professional art show! You can see Mr. Bean's exhibit at the gallery starting this week.

On Educator Commitment Signing Day, let’s all give a big round of applause to the next generation of educators. We are proud of your dedication to the teaching profession and can’t wait to cheer you on in the classroom. #pcssdproud #serveall

What would you tell your future self? Some of our seniors got the chance to do just that!
As part of a reset for their sophomore year in 2023, students in Ms. Foote's English class returned from Winter Break and wrote letters to their future selves declaring the success they would achieve by graduation. The letters along with other artifacts were put into a time capsule and buried. On April 23, 2025, just one month prior to graduation, the time capsule was excavated and students took a walk down memory lane.
We are so proud of the class of 2025 as they prepare to graduate and move on to their next phases of life!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day and Week, the Campus Beautification Club created photo props for teachers and partnered with Foote Party Rentals & Events to receive a free floral wall rental to create a stunning photo booth to commemorate the day.
Our math department also honored Mr. Patterson this week on National Principals' Day. Leading a high school is no easy task, but the teachers are thankful to have him at the helm!

We are proud to announce that several of Ms. Fuller's students have recently successfully completed their ACT WorkKeys assessments!
ACT WorkKeys aims to assess and develop essential skills needed for workplace success. Scholars are tested in the areas of applied math, graphic literacy and workplace documents, and certificates are issued at four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Successful completion of specific WorkKeys assessments can lead to earning the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), a credential that validates essential skills across industries and occupations. ACT WorkKeys also offers a job profiling service that helps employers identify the specific skills required for various jobs.
Congratulations to these students for their hard work! #ElevatingExcellence

We continue the week recognizing our fabulous school nurses. And today it's time to give a shout out to the nurses in the MILLS feeder. Thank you for caring for our students and promoting a healthy school environment. #pcssdproud #serveall
