Interested in playing volleyball at Maumelle High for the 2023-2024 school year? Tryouts are coming up ... one day for 9th grade and another for varsity. Both days will be held in the Maumelle High School gym.
9th grade tryouts will be on Monday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m.
Varsity tryouts will be on Friday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m.

Reminder we have a new date for the Maumelle Food Truck Festival and it's just two weeks away! Come join us on Saturday, May 13 for family fun and great food. March and April wrapped up our student representatives at our monthly School Board of Education meetings. Our student representatives are both seniors, Xavier Graves from SYLVAN HILLS HIGH joined us in March and Joi Porter from MAUMELLE HIGH joined us in April. Student involvement is an important part of the democratic process in the monthly PCSSD school board meetings . This month was our last month with student reps until next school year. We're so thankful to have our very own, senior Joi Porter represent MAUMELLE HIGH. We are so proud of Joi and how well she represented MAUMELLE HIGH at the meeting on Tuesday night (it was a long one). Way to go, Joi!
April is Arab-American Heritage Month. This month we celebrate the contributions and achievements of Arab-Americans, along with their heritage. In 2022, Congress issued a proclamation commemorating the event. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
The Lady Hornets Volleyball team at Maumelle High school will host a volleyball camp this summer for incoming 3rd - 6th graders. Coach Marlo Watkins will lead the "Little Hornet Spikers" camp June 5 - June 17. The camp will be held from 1:30 - 4:30 pm each day. Join us a for a week of skills and drills!
